Benji at the tea party...

Benji was a special teddy bear. He had a secret ability that no other teddy bear had – he could flip from being happy to sad and back again. All he had to do was turn his head upside down and his expression would change from a joyful smile to a sad frown.

Benji loved spending time with his best friend, a girl named Lily. She was always so kind and caring, and Benji loved nothing more than to make her happy. When Lily was feeling down, Benji would turn his head upside down and let his sad face comfort her. And when Lily was feeling happy, Benji would turn his head right side up and join in on the fun.

One day, Lily invited all of her friends over for a tea party. Benji was so excited to be a part of the fun, and he spent the whole morning getting ready. He polished his fur and made sure his ribbon was tied just right.

As the guests arrived, Benji greeted each one with a big, happy smile. He poured tea, passed out cookies, and played games with their friends. Everyone was having a great time, and Benji was having the time of his life.

But then, something unexpected happened. One of their friends accidentally knocked over a jar of honey, and it spilled all over Benji's fur. Benji tried to clean it off, but no matter how hard he scrubbed, he just couldn't get it all out.

Feeling embarrassed and self-conscious, Benji turned his head upside down and let his sad face show. Lily noticed immediately and gave Benji a big hug. "It's okay, Benji," she said. "I still love you, even if you're a little sticky."

Benji's sad face turned into a happy one, and he hugged Lily back. From then on, Benji learned that it was okay to feel all kinds of emotions, and that his best friend would always love him no matter what.

As the tea party came to an end and the guests said their goodbyes, Benji turned his head right side up and smiled at Lily. "Thank you for being such a great friend," he said.

"Anytime, Benji," Lily replied. "I'm so glad you're my reversible plush Benji bear."
